Sevilla football club is a football club form Spain. The club from Andalusia was founded 126 years ago. Rojiblancos is what they are called in Spain, which means red and white. Their home ground is Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Sevilla is the oldest and one of the wealthiest Spanish clubs. They have won lots of local and international trophies.
Sevilla’s only La Liga title was won in 1946. Rojiblancos have also won 5 Copas del Rey. But their real advance was achieved in the new century, when Sevilla reached their first European triumph. They have won four Europa Leagues and the Super Cup for the last decade. Two cups in 2006 and 2007 were won with Juande Ramos as their manager. Their prominent players at that time were the Spanish defender Javi Navarro, the Brazilian wingers Dani Alves and Adriano, the Spanish attacker Jesus Navas and the duo of strikers Frederic Kanoute from Mali and Luis Fabiano from Brazil.
Two more Europa Leagues were won in the last two seasons with Unai Emery. Sevilla’s success was available due to such great players as the Croatin midfielder Ivan Rakitic the German attackers Marko Marin and Piotr Trochowski, the Columbian striker Carlos Bacca They left Sevilla for more affluent clubs. They were joined by the Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka last summer, who is considered as a great talent.
